Schreibwerkstatt-Klingspor Workshop Two

Ah!  Sometime your path crosses with the most wonderful, kind & generous people. This is the case with the workshop participants at Bad Soden-Salmunster this week.  Last night there was a tradition and ritual performed in the dead of night, walking barefoot through the labyrinth  at the monastery here.  It was of course a pagan ritual, one that I enjoyed immensely if not a little frightened by the prospect that at any minute Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby was going to arrive looking for the "body in the labyrinth" in Midsomer Salmunster. It was also the tail end of a day in the high thirties so it wasn't cold by any means.

Tonight we had the traditional farewell party even though we have one more workshop day to come.  What a blast. Veilen danke to all concerned! Enjoy these pics and think of the wonderful feeling I had when our chorus of two French, one Dutch and eleven German calligraphic scholars sang, in sweet tones "Waltzing Matilda".  It is the best choir I have ever been a part of.
